NOT running in 2007

Graham Richard just announced he's not running for mayor
in 2007.

Met him personally, and although mainly liberal, I find
him to be a smart businessman and mostly good for the city.

Any thoughts? likes/dislikes? stories?

with the annexation of mostly conservative Aboite, Pine Valley & others..

This will more than likely make any Republican run favorable.

being possiblities. Nothing to get excited about. Yet.

Oh, and there are a lot of rich Democrats out in Aboite too. That old stereotype about people with money voting Republican and working stiffs voting Democrat doesn't hold up anymore. There are other issues in play besides money, and there's really very little difference when it comes to money - especially on a local level.
