Did anybody watch it Saturday? I missed it unfortunately and Ty Causey was playing with his band. I'm hoping somebody taped or it got put up on youtube or something.

Is it just that you don't like the style perhaps? Because the musicians in that band are flat out badasses! W.R. Sanders, Lalo Hernandez, Lee Lewis...

Yes they are badasses, and they were flat out Groovin'! It was impressive to see some pros in that genre get air time on the show.

LLC was also outstanding.

The young up and coming talent can take lessons from Ty Causey. When you can work the Blue Note in New York and get called back for a repeat performance PLUS have a tune in the top 50 in Europe says a lot for a "local" musician. This is what it's all about. Ty, great performance..just wish you'd get off your butt and sign with us. I've got Antoine's in Austin, TX waiting for you !!

I've seen Lee Lewis a millino times at the Blues Jam at Mid City on Monday nights... and he's amazing.

I just thought everything in general was weak... it wasn't new or inspiring to me.
