Hey everyone. I am in need of all of your creativity here. The soon to be renamed Exit 69 Band is in need of some options. We have come up with a ton of names ourselves, but you know how that can go. There are lots of names that no one likes, and a few that everyone likes, but so far, none that everyone LOVES! Being the only member from the Fort, I thought (actually, Ollie suggested{THANKS OLLIE}) I could hit up everyone on here for suggestions. It'd be great if I could take a list of new names to our guitar player auditions on Sunday afternoon. The band is fronted by two female vocalists. We want to avoid names like ______ and the _______ . We are looking for a name that is easily represented on promo stuff such as posters, table tents, etc. PLEASE HELP!! Check out their old demo recordings HERE.

Seriously, two girls singing. What are you trying to convey? What type of music are you doing? Naming yourself something like "Self Mutilating Armadillo" would be a bad idea if you are planning to be a bar band.

Change every guys name in the band to Richard.

"Chicks with D*cks"

Seriously...what are you trying to convey as far as your image? The music you are playing is a combination of 70's & 90's music. Do you want the two girls to be the focus of the band? The entire band?

Sorry I'm asking questions, but I'm trying to come up with a good answer for you.

That's cool. I appreciate the thinking. As far as focus, the girls are what people are checking out, for sheer vocal ability if nothing else. The band itself is tight, so there are no distractions from the background folk like myself. I guess the MAIN focus is the music. One of the guys suggested leaving things like "funk", "dance" etc, out of the name to avoid being pigeonholed, but, IMHO, that's what we do, so why not. We need something that we can use as far as "brand recognition" goes. Something that could easily be made into a recognizable slogan. Remember when Independence Day (the movie) came out? It was advertised as I D 4. Jennifer Lopez became J-Lo. The North River Agents are NoRA. Something along those lines, perhaps. Maybe not. I don't know. That's why I'm asking you guys.
