HTML comments (banners, posters, flyers, etc.) will no longer be allowed on the FortWayneMusic.com MySpace. If you want to post those things, feel free to post them in the "Talk About A Show" forum but not before you POST THE SHOW ON THE CALENDAR. More people will see your banners here, anyways.

i understand the reason for wanting them gone, but fwm and myspace/fwm IS a place to promote for sure.

what do you think about setting it to "all comments must be approved" and then laying out some dimensional specifications to be met?

It's easier to do it this way. MySpace is slow enough as is.

I think none or garrs approval point would work.

I've already tried setting guidelines...nobody paid any attention to them and I was still deleting over-sized images daily. Very few people visit the FWM MySpace page to look at the comments so they know what upcoming shows to check out. It's not worth the hassle as far as I'm concerned.

As of right now and for the next 4 months or so, no I don't. I have no net access at home but as soon as I do, that was something I planned on attempting.

HOWEVER...people don't even add their shows to the calendar here sooooo...

I'm sorry... ...I'm one of *those* people that posted something too big on Myspace.
