i won't apologize.. it's just not as strong as Jacobs.. I don't know the thinking with label execs... but what you had before was way better.

I was just ribbin ya. Seriously, I like both covers. Being a fan of Sauer's work, I love what he did. To be honest, his artwork was for a poster, not cd cover. We will still use it for the intended purpose.
The owner/president of Retroactive Records didn't feel Jacob's artwork represented us the way he wanted to market us. I would say that Sauer's artwork definetely fit our band perfectly. However, whatever marketting plan is going on with retroactive is a different story. They know their clientele and fanbase and feel they could generate interest quicker with this new cover.
We are looking at posters, stickers, and temporary tattoos with Jacob's artwork. It will be used!
Anyway, I was interested to see what everyone thought of the cd cover, so. . .

I agree. It looks like poster material. And I get this strange superhero/Incredible Hulk vibe from it, too.

i think the old one would fit better as far as disc cover, but thats just me.
itd look nice on a shirt.

I'm not harping on the fact that I don't like it.. but
The Sauer one looks way more professional than the new one. Honestly it looks like someone slapped your logo on a photo.
I'll stop now.
