When regular I see Duece everyday, sometimes twice. When I don't see duece I am grumpy.

In all seriousness, I didnt get a chance to pay attention to duece because we were setting up at that time, but any time I have seen Kenny Taylor it was been a good show.

Brother was great. I didnt know anything about them before last night and just assumed by their name that they were like a 90/00 rock cover band. Boy was I wrong that was good sh*t, not just bringing up memories of being little and listening to all my older sister's butt rock tapes. They played it perfect.

Good sh*t.

Mark Magdich of Brother sang a new project for me last week and just perfectly nailed that classic rock tone. His pitch and phrasing are dead nuts, and he's got rock swagger to spare. I haven't heard the band, but if the rest of them are as good as Mark, they must destroy all monsters.

He tells me they play 140 gigs a year.

Mark Magdich was in the only officially sanctioned Boston tribute band back when he was living on the west coast. That will tell you something about how bad to the bone he is.

As a matter of fact, all of those dudes could be the lead singer of brother. When they get those 4-parts going, it's like you're being hit by a semi. It doesn't hurt that his twin brother (mike) and mark have the EXACT SAME voice and absolutely nail all the harmonies with terrifying precision.

Are you shytting me?

People are actually giving Brother PROPS?

Good for them...and for you. More realization of the talent in this area, no matter what kind of music the talent in question plays, can only be a positive thing.

Props to all who listened...and congrats to all who participated musically, and to those who won Thursday night.
