dang that sucks! I'm going to move this to local band chat as more people will probably look at the thread there, okay? Be sure to check the local pawn shops/guitar stores/evilbay/etc... also, look on bassgear.com and harmony central's classifieds. Most likely this wasn't stolen by someone looking to play it, but move it for cash.

Far be it from me to have a suggestion....
But it would probably help your cause if you...
Posted an *actual* pic of the bass.
Mention some characteristic scars, scratches or modifiactions.
Posted the last 4 or so digits in the serial number.
Tell us where it was last or from where it was stolen.
Any other tips or info that might help you and us.

OA's right, post an actual pic and the last four of the serial number. There are tons of these things for sale all over the internet right now. Fairly common instrument.

I found this on Ebay and I think it's a more accurate picture as far as the coloring of the bass.
It was too new to have pictures of or even any marks.

any leads? As long as you're not making too much $$ playing, homeowners/renters insurance should cover your bass if it's not found soon.

How do you go about using insurance to recover the bass?

You call your insurance company and open a claim.
I had a camcorder stolen from Legend's one night many years back and our homeowners insurance covered it. No questions...they just replaced it with a similar model...took about 3 weeks..

I have my gear insured with my homeowner coverage, you need to get what's called a marine policy:) Hope this helps! That's a sweet looking bass!
