i dont agree with that one bit...when i was into comics an shite back in my day, superman was the man...i had over 100 comics...also had one that was worth $1500...f*ckin a...
To me, this looks photoshopped so the colors would be washed out. I think that's where the "maroon" is coming from. However, I don't like the "maroon"ness either.
I'm thinking the red on the underside of the cape is more Superman-esc.
Also, the curl stays.
