Anyone been to the Childrens Zoo yet this year?

will be visting to Cinci zoo next month.

if you buy a pass from the FTW Zoo you get discounts at other zoos around the nation.

The Cinci zoo is 50% off the ticket price.

Pack a cooler, get the pass, and you can enjoy bologna sandwiches and thirty cent Faygos ice cold in the parking lot or at a Franke Park picnic table...then return to the zoo with the already-paid-for pass. Cheaper than a month's worth of cover charges to see your band....or a week's worth of beer, for some.

A no-brainer. Just my .02.

$2 For a pop in a pop machine in Fort Wayne just seems ridiculous because we arent a tourist trap, had I of known it was going to be that expensive I would have just got one down the street for half that (as someone stated).

When I was living in Orlando, $2 for a pop in many locations would not suprise me because you can be in and out of a tourist area with out knowning.

I guess I am just cheep.

Well, if you were not a captive audience, i.e. in the zoo, then the pop would be $1.00 or $1.25, but it's just like going to a Komets game, or a Wizards game or to the theater. You're captive in that place, and it's private business space, so the prices are going to be elevated. The price for 22 ounces of soda at the movies is like $3.50. . .and they put ice in it. (about 6 ounces worth)

no matter where you go, unless there are free refills, ask for no ice.
