Yeah, this was the stuff of talk almost the entire afternoon at IPFW. We were getting details fed to us all day and they even offered to let employees leave if they were too upset about the death to continue their workday.

The girl was stabbed and found by her roommate. The roommate found her unresponsive and reported it to emergency services. The police ruled it a homicide before the end of business that day and a campus wide email was sent.

That sucks, I got about three of those emails, its always wierd because you wonder if you know the person.

worse yet, it was the roommate's mother, and it turns out I know the roommate. she thought her mother was kidnapped by the same person who killed her roommate and it turned out her mother did it. she's destroyed. this is just sad all around.

Well, I can direct you to the news where photos of both the victim and the woman in custody for suspicion of the crime were found.

That, and the official emails from the Vice Chancellor of Financial Affairs from IPFW.
