T minus 11 days, and counting...
Anymore details, Garr? If you pick a time and location, I think other people could help out with the uniform specs...don't put it all on your shoulders, as we have several people already chimed in that are interested.
Garr's the ring leader...so we are just waiting on him to chime in. I don't have a red or blue polo, so neither one makes a difference to me. Although, I'd think Best Buy would be more fun...its easier to see more of the store from ground level...at least the one on Coliseum Blvd.
Yes, the plan will be the Best Buy at Northcrest. Time to be determined. It will likely be Saturday before I can actually make it to the store to do uniform recon, so if someone else wants to do it early to get the ball rolling, you may act of your own accord.
I don't think the exact shade of blue (although just compare to to the pictures if you want) is as important as getting a solid-sized group. Also, what recon is necessary? The original URL you posted specifically stated the uniform (blue polo, black belt, black shoes and khakis). I think we have everything needed besides a time to do it.
What I am thinking is that, just like the group in NY, that we don't go in as a group, just a couple at a time. I'm hoping that we get at least 20 folks...for the store at Northcrest, that should cause enough confusion. If its less than 10 people, then I think all need to hang out in a single area of the store (like near the computers). That is where most people will be asking questions, methinks:)
As for the mall, how much are costume rentals? Like mascot stuff? That would be really funny to see a bunch of easter bunnies or whatever hanging out at the fountain.
Another option could be to all dress up like the verizon dude (should be easy, slick the hair, glasses and work jacket/pants). Everyone walks around, Can you hear me now?
The key is to take advantage of recognizable uniforms/symbols...which isn't illegal, but in a group, certainly will cause a scene (i.e. controlled chaos). Its obviously not original, but around this area, it should be something no one has really seen...which makes it fun:)
