I'm old. I'll admit it. Once you get past 35, you're old.

Embrace it boys. And face facts. We're old. Don't you remember when you were 21 and thought anybody over 28 was an old fart. We're past the "If you're over 35" clause on the id checks for beer. We never get carded anymore. We're old.
GET OFF MY DAMN LAWN!

To me, you're not old until you start getting senior citizen discounts.

When I finally realized I was old and had to admit it, I was driving in my car flipping radio stations and heard Tears for Fears, "Shout", cranked it up, sang along, etc... At the end of the song, the radio dj came on the air and said "That was part of our WAAAAY BACK weekend."........ Oh sh*t, I'm old. That song came out when I was a Freshman in High School.

I don't think "old" is the adjective you should be using...

I don't think not being carded is a sign of being old.
I am 24 and I haven't been carded for beer since I was 18.
I tried handing a guy at the liquor store my I.D. the other day and he just shook his and head and said "No man, you're good."
You are only as old as you feel.
So if you are 35 and feel old, you should probably just kill yourself, because it isn't going to get any easier.

bite me. and for the last time, get the hell off my lawn. For the record I don't think getting old is a bad thing - beats the hell out of the alternative... I'm not one of those people who worries about it. start going bald, screw rogain, I'm just shavin' it off...
Probably depends on the situation too. In music, I'm old. In the insurance industry, I'm still a young pup.

when i start caring about conversations about the weather.
when i start yelling at them kids to turn down their crazy music and to get the hell off my lawn.
when i start using my senior discount instead of my student discount at the movies.
when i start wearing adult diapers.
then... maybe then i'll consider that i'm getting old.

My momma always said "Old is always 10 years older than you are." How true, How true!
When you start quoting your momma, you are old.
I usually read celeb birthdays to my students, and when I say some of their favorite stars are turning 27 or 28, they say, "Man, they sure is old!" I must be a freakin' fossil. . . .
About 10 years ago, my friend's teenage daughter thought that he and his wife were totally clueless, mainly because they were old. The girl also thought the sun rose and set on Metallica and their lyrics. We always had a good laugh, because the members of Metallica were the same age as my friend.
