What are some recent restaurants you've been to or recipes you've tried lately? What'd you have? How'd you like it?

Went to Laguna Grille (the former Misono location) on Dupont because a friend was performing there.
Never again. Terrible kitchen efficiency and quality problems, worst trained wait staff I have EVER seen. The experience was so completely horrible that Lisa and I started laughing out loud about it.
They suck.

Just got back from lunch, chinese shop in Quimby Village. Excellent food (General Tso's Chicken and Fried Noodles being my two favorite dishes), great service (my drink had to have been topped off at least 8 times during the visit) and very inexpensive lunch menu ($7 with tip).

Munchies last night, the Polotician, and three pints of Auburn, a decent Monday evening.

Rack & Helen's in New Haven has the BOMB sausage roll. Nothing I've had compares to it, personally.

It is worth checking out. Very good food and it is pretty cheap.

Their grinders are worth a look too. My mom swears by them. . .for ever and ever and ever.

Since we're quoting things...here's the most accurate quote in the thread.
