Henry's
I think it is only upscale when you are not there.

Things that Henry's would need to become "more upscale than CSW:"

A lower SPL
Even floors
Fewer hipster drunks
A fresh scent

A decent wait/bar staff
Less life threatening lighting by the booths

Nice pics of JK O's in the Business Weekly today... airy and pleasant looking, I'll say.

We'll be out and about this weekend, and maybe drop in, if I can escape the gravitational pull of Asakusa on a mid-Sunday afternoon.

Indeed, jewelee... I love the food, the serenity, the sake... a weekend afternoon, around 3 or 4, with the place so quiet, sipping tea just after the shrimp dumplings and waiting for the red tuna to arrive... man, I can just feel myself returning to a clear zero point.

I like a lot of restaurants, but I am grateful for Asakusa.

Thanks for the comments, folks! You'll be glad to know that they did not go unheard. Hours and location are now on every page of the J. K. O'Donnell's website.

And if you don't want to wait for the Flash to load over there, I'll just go ahead and post them right here:

121 West Wayne Street
Fort Wayne 46802
(As noted on this thread, across from Toscani, next to Double Dragon, between Harrison and Calhoun.)

Mon - Fri 11-11
Sat 4-11

Hope to see you there! (I'm personally waiting for it to die down...)

It died down tonight, word to the killing time wait staff.

Bangers and mash was filling and the fine print in the menu was a nice touch...self-aware without being overly clever.

Will they pay for your DUI if you successfully sample all of their beers?

just got back from my first experience with JK O's.

best. experience. ever.

Bangers and mash were awesome (GET THE 1/2 ORDER! i brought home 2+ pounds of leftovers)

great place. i plan on spending a lot of time there.

i believe JK O's will reverse global warming, kill the terrorists, develop a cure for cancer, and eliminate canker sores forever.

We must have *just* missed you.

We went last night and got there about 8:15.

Had the Shepherd Pie and Fish and chips.

Great food.
