FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE

Post by JEDIGLIDE »

I give it 8 out of 10. I was not let down by this movie at all, and I'm a pretty big F4 fan.

Reasons I did not give it a 10:
-Another corny dance scene.
-Silver Surfer never said, "To Me, My Board" <-----Classic Silver Surfer quote.
-Doom again without an accent.
-Too much advertising.
-Weak ass military impersonators.

Reasons I gave it a 8:
-Alicia Masters being a bigger part of it this time around. SKRULLLLS!!!!!
-Alicia Masters being a bigger part of it this time around. PUPPET MASTER!
-Frankie Raye being a part of this one. NOVA!!!!!!!!!
-Sick ass effects!
-Comedy
-Romance
-Action
-They paid homage to the comic's look of Galactus with his shadow on Saturn.
-Fantasticar
-Silver Surfer
-Galactus
-Stan Lee

I'm actually gonna try to go see it again before it leaves theaters!

8 or 10? or 4 of 5? heh.

Good to know that such a xXhardcorexxcomixfanXx as you rated it so highly. This means I will surely enjoy it. I collected Silver Surfer books for about two or three years when I could afford them (i.e. before I started buying DnD books with every cent I could scrounge). Love Norin Radd!

Family took me to Silver Surfer for Father's Day gift - the movie rocked! Silver Surfer is awesome, and now needs his own movie without the annoying F4 around.
