Survivor 14 Open Casting Call!!

Post by Jambrea »

I found this on the CBS website! This sounds pretty cool for anyone that is interested.

SURVIVOR 14
Open Casting Call
An Open Casting Call is an event your local station holds for SURVIVOR. When you attend an Open Call, you will fill out an application and be put on camera there. You do not need to bring your own tape, and you do not need a copy of your passport. Open Calls alleviate the headaches and expenses of making your own tape, transferring it to VHS format and mailing it.

These events are also lots of fun. Meet fellow SURVIVOR fans, make some new friends, enjoy. Your local station will send the tape directly to the casting department, where it will be watched by the casting team and the same as it would be if you sent in an individual tape yourself.

Good luck, and have fun!

It would be cool to see someone from Fort Wayne on the show. I know that I couldn't do it. If I was in better shape, it might be fun! Well, interesting anyway! :D

applying for isn't that hard.

Didn't know about the Indpls availability though.

Rupert Boneham was from Indianapolis and
he took the million a few years ago.

Met him up in Chicago during a signing event.
Extremely nice guy.

He is to me,.. the epitome of "Survivor"

If I didn't have to risk a long time employment
position,... I'd apply..

True!

If it hadn't been for Jonny Rotten or the "Amber/Rob fling"

Rupert could quite possibly have been a "3" millionaire.

Does a great service for the youth in the Indy area..

Rupert was great. The first season he was on is the reason I am a Survivor addict today.

And he didn't "take" the million...it was given to him thanks to audience vote. He never technically won the game. That was implied above, yes, but I don't want anyone getting a Trivial Pursuit Pop Culture question wrong because they weren't sure.

Both are wrong according to Wiki:
Born in Detroit, Michigan, he moved to Indiana at a young age. He attended Haworth High School in Kokomo, Indiana. After graduation, he moved to Texas to study nursing at Cisco Junior College and Angelo State University.

Boneham lives in Indianapolis, Indiana with his wife Laura and daughter, Raya. Prior to appearing in Survivor, he worked as a mentor for troubled teens. He has previously worked as a gravedigger and bartender. His hobbies include scuba diving, camping and coin collecting. His favorite sport is racquetball.
