Do we really want to get into the logic of semantics that requires a judgment to have been made just by the simple fact that you responded with your observation which is clearly a statement of your opinion of deek's prior actions?

I mean, come on, at least make it difficult for me.

EVERY time you develop an opinion, and especially in those instances where you voice them, you have made a judgment. It's a requisite for forming an opinion.
There are 10 types of people in the world.

Those who understand binary. . .

. . .and those who don't.

Give me a hand job!
This system cannot be reformed or voted out of office because reforms and elections do not challenge the fundamental causes of injustice.

Bottled Water = $1.19/btl.
Milk = $2.89 - 3.19/gal. :?
Cup Of 12oz.Coffee .89/ea.
Small Pitcher of Draft $3.50 - $4.00/ea.
pack of Cigs. $40-55/carton

Not to mention....
property taxes
State tax on gasoline.
Fed tax on gasoline.

Many many more cost of living scenarios.

I agree with Bassjones,... the price outrage on the price
of gasoline is rapidly moving into the political arena.

Anyways...

I'll stay on topic, which is what I should have done before...and will take the advice to start a different topic if I feel the need to rant...

I have to agree with Chris on this...if I had a easier alternative to get to work, I'd take it. Right now, I don't have a bike, and while my work is about 7.5 miles away, I'd probably consider riding to a bus stop and taking that in.

I know my uncle rides into work on occaision (about 3-4 times every couple weeks)...takes him about an hour and fifteen minutes...he says its not a big deal in the morning, but coming home, kinda sucks, both with traffic and just energy level.

Its sad cause I got some gas today and only put $30 in...that was only about 8 gallons...and I drive a full-size truck with a 24 gallon tank...honestly, I don't know when the last time I actually filled the tank was, as I never do it anymore...

Are there any plans for the city to expand the bussing routes???

Not when the busses are less than 1/4 full now.

I think they are planning on running 24/7 on bar and pub crawl routes so drunks can safely make it home.

With alternate routes that will run right past your front door.

Probably for free, too.

Well, they just had a story on the news last night, that Citilink was ramping up for the summer...I didn't know they were only at 1/4 capacity. I do know they said that all busses have bike racks...which is one of the reasons I am considering a bike...

Living NE on Stellhorn, I have about 2 miles to get to the closest bus stop in the Georgetown area. On bike, I could make that in probably 10-15 minutes...

Ya know, I am really thinking about this as a viable option now...

I don't know that for a fact, just personal observation whenever I see a bus.

That option sounds like it might work for you.

The only downside is the weather...well, that and the fact I don't have a bike right now...

The problem with that is you don't go through 30 gallons of Milk a week...;)

Those are always great comparisons though...enjoyable reads...

A tad bit OT, but I was recently at a football game, and bottle water was $2, a soda was $1...still have never understood that...

I don't know, its just really painful to go to the gas station anymore...painful...
