I'm just curious: Have you ever locked a thread because of sarcasm?

Nope.

Almost ALL of them would be locked if that were the case.



We ban only as a last resort for posters who are belligerent, openly hostile, or threaten violence.

We lock threads that have veered so far off course that it no longer serves it purpose, especially if it contains any of the above violations.

We have been VERY lax the last few months about banning. I have lifted the majority of the bans and really only the BOTs are banned at this point..

In my attempt to keep up with Garr... My biggest annoyance... People who use literally when they mean figuratively.

i.e.
I literally flew across the room
I literally died when...
She literally weighed 1500 pounds

you get the idea.

Obviously, they're virtually using the term 'literally' figuratively. Oh, the irony.
