Oh great...it's the Uncle Rico of the Fort Wayne music scene.
I don't know about me. To be specific, I'm a drummer with over 15 years of stage and studio experience that's still looking for his big break-out band. I'm a lot of different things rolled into one. Currently, I'm writing music on the keyboard and looking forward to getting back on stage really soon!. I must admit that I'm better than 99.5% of the drummers in or around Fort Wayne. I love the stage. I'll be back on one soon enough! One of my goals is to play with another original band that completely crushes all of the local cover bands, and shows them what true talent is! I was in a band back in the '90's called 'Circle Of Fear' that did just that! Also, I'm in search of the woman I can deal with that has the world's sexiest legs. Drummer, horror movie buff, and all around swell guy!-vMv

Aww...how touching, guys. And I didn't know you cared. HAHA! Sure shows a lot of insecurity. I make a simple comment, a gest no less, and everyone gets their wittle feewings hurt. I guess this proves you guys can't take any form of sarcasm, eh? That's a shame and a joke.

By the way...you can say anything you want about me, BUT you can NEVER say I suck. "Look, I'm a lame emo wannabe band from Fort Wayne! I'm playing C Street this weekend, and yer not!" HAHA!

I detected no sarcasm in your post at all.

Nope, not one bit.

Until you complained, nobody knew who you were.

Tell you what, put a band together and we can all rock a show during which you shall no doubt pull all the adoration.

And one hell of Tommy Lee -esque drum solo completely with twirling drum sticks and all.

Dude, you already saw me play at least once with RuleSeven at Legends. Matter of fact, we did a benefit showcase for the New Orleans flood that FWMusic put together. I've also played for Spork and TimeBomb over the last 5 years before RuleSeven. But then again, I'm a metal drummer, and really wouldn't expect anyone from this "clique" to know me. And, yes. I was being sarcastic earlier. I can't help it if you have a fragile ego.

Al kidding aside....

There was no sarcasm in your post. None.

You dissed some really great players in this town, some of the best.. and all the nicest guys you will ever meet.

You got busted, and we had fun at your expense.

Many that know you and seen you play also know that you are great drummer as well, but c'mon...if you read that you too would think WTF?

So before this all becomes a flame war, let just all agree to let it lie.

If you HONESTLY think that there is no talent in this gig, then don't go.

It's just that is doesnt make you look too good to make such a broad statement like that. You wouldn't like it if it was done to you, neither would your friends or fans.

Neither nor.

As for cliques, I'd disagree. I have friends who happen to be both good people and talented musicians. I consider myself fortunate.

Can I nominate my young 'un even if she was 3 at the time and not 2?
