Something a little different for me

Post by conley »

Monday night (30th) at the Mad Anthony Brewery, a few fine gentleman & myself will be unveiling a little Jazz project. The always entertaining Casey Stansifer is on bass, a cool cat by the name of John Moss (yes, Moss), is playing some drums and a great pianist by the name of Todd Phillips will be, well, playing piano & I will be singing. It's still in the early stages, but if you feel like checking out some cool jazz & a delicious Mad Brew ($1.75 pint night), we hope you can make it down.

Tuesday from 6-9pm, I'll be playing solo-acoustic, covering for Dodds @ Mid City Grill. Stone Soup goes on after that & Action Jackson after that.......this could turn out to be a party.

Does your jazz band have a name? Would you consider using 'The Albino Penguins'? I've always wanted to see a band use that name - but to pull it off I think you'd have to be jazz.

Tell Todd Phillips that Jim from Gravity is sorry the trumpet gig didn't work out this time, and call me if you want a tasteful jazzy-blues guitar player to sit in sometime. :) It sounds like a cool gig.
