AND THIS TIME, WE MEAN IT!
Well, at least that's what they tell us.
On WISE 33 (channel 13 on your Comcast) at 1 a.m. Saturday night/Sunday morning, (10/14 or 10/15, whatever) right after SNL.

I'm glad it was actually on this time. although it wasn't right after SNL. the 1:00 time slot that FWR was supposed to be shown on was beat out by an infomercial about brick walls.

well, I remember a brick wall infomercial.
and I also loved it. I never knew Brenn went to Northrop, I learned more in that interview than I did in school all week.

The brick infomercial was on before SNL, then they ran a rerun from two weeks ago? Get your sh*t together NBC!

The interview part was great, but am I the only one that thinks the performance seemed REALLY sterile?
Maybe it had something to do with leaving a crowded, rocking-LLC show at the Brass Rail & then heading home to watch them perform on tv...but it seemed like the vibe was missing.

No, I think your probably right. It was odd to play to noone, with dead silence in between songs. Then waiting a few minutes in between songs(in complete silence) every time, it is tough to keep the momentum going.

Thanks for watching. I almost had a heart attack when someone called me to tell me that "some homebuilding show" was on instead of Saturday Night Live…
Though I'm sure nothing compares to seeing LLC in a packed bar after a drink or two, I thought the guys put on an amazing performance for the taping of the show. It is a little weird playing in that kind of situation, but there were a few times there (especially during "Big Mama") when I thought LLC entered "the zone," or whatever you call it when a performance goes beyond great and the musicians tap into… something. Magic? Voodoo? I don't know. Than again, I was there at the taping, so maybe I'm biased.

I was hoping someone picked up on that.
Anyway, thanks for watching, more to come, and sorry about last weekend. And a special thank you to LLC for their patience and enthusiasm.

@MikeS-
(More like a drink or five...but, yeah, I get your drift
I think the show is a great addition for the local music scene, but I had a few questions-
Are audiences able to come to these tapings? Maybe that would give the bands some energy to feed off of.
Or, maybe in the future consider taping live performances throughout the city and adding in Sean's interviews?
No offense meant to
anyof the performers who have been featured thus far, but are there plans to step outside of the "expected" and feature some lesser-known bands or hip-hop groups?
'Just some questions/ideas,
Julie
