This is a legendary line-up if you are someone remotely interested in hip-hop. I can't believe it's in Fort Wayne. I hate Pierre's, but there's no way I'd miss this show. You shouldn't either. Read Greg's article in Whatzup and then go!

No sh*t. I can't believe no one on this board is talking about this show and I'm not just trying to "bump" the thread.

The legends Rakim & Kid Capri aside, Brother Ali's performance at Scribble Jam was stellar. I still can't believe such awesomeness comes from that dude & I can't believe HE is playing Pierre's, especially since it's not in support of a new album or anything.

Plus, I always enjoy 2RQ & watching the local dancers invade Pierre's stage.

WE SO ENJOYED IT.

2RQ was fun, Brother Ali was the sh*t, Rakim was smooth as ever, yet despite my love for dj's and Kid Capri's dope cuts....he was SO freaking annoying it *almost* was a downer. I heard people that caught the Indy show said the same thing about Capri.

Yeah, Capri was two big thumbs down. I thought Rakim was pretty good. It has to be hard to perform those same songs for 20+ years and still be hype.

I thought it was cool how Brother Ali was rockin' out in the crowd with everyone else during Rakim's performance.
