2006 Maumee Music Fest

Plans are underway for the 2006 Maumee Music Fest sponsored by DID, A3K/Unfocused Productions & FWM.com.

The low-down:
Freimann Square
July 15th, 2006
Noon-Midnight

2 Stages:
Acoustic Stage:
Noon - 8PM
8 performance/spoken word slots

Main Stage:
(10) 45 min. band sets
(9) 30 min. dj sets in between

Local art show
Booth space & sponsorship packages (& Anderson's mom) available -

(Plans to have a national/regional band at a 21+ downtown venue afterwards are also in the works....)

Word is that the staff is currently taking bribes from bands, dj's artists, etc. including (but not limited to) and in no particular order:

Sexual favors from midgets
Pharmies
Large amounts of alcohol
Sexual acts from midgets on pharmies and/or large amounts of alcohol
Money
19 year olds (males or females; will distribute accordingly)
Cheese
Free tattoos
Cebollas and Las Lomas gift certificates
PORN
Handies/BJ's
Haircuts

45 minute sets...nice. I'm not a big fan of anything less than 45 minutes. Smart move. Julie must've made that call.
