beck wrote:Jimmy Vaughn was by far the most boring set of music I have seen in the last 10 years. It sounded like Double Trouble minus a single good solo(with the exceopition of his rythym player) who in my opinion showed him up that night.

I also thought Junior Brown made Jimmy Vaughn look like an amatuare(sp?)

Just my opinion, and everyone around me at the show.

Sorry Fleek, I hope we can still be friends.
I wasn't there, so I have no basis to form an opinion for that night's set, but I stand by my initial reply. Jimmy's a monster.

seriously fleek, jimmy is only famous because of his little brother.

if you've been playing guitar for 40 years it seems like you should do a little more than run a basic blues scale.

i agree 110% with beck.

Brenn, you were sick that night so I will give you a pass.

I enjoyed it thoroughly and would definitely check him out again.

Jimmy was famous well before his little brother. Again, he may have had an off night because I've seen him before and he was making his Tele weep. He's definitely more old school blues than Stevie Ray was, but he (usually) plays some of the best slow blues I've ever heard. His bends are some of the purest in the biz.

Chances are, it was an off-night, cause he looked pissed off the entire set. In fact the whole band looked pissed off at each other the whole night(except for the keyboad player, who looked like he was having the time of his life.)

I'd be pissed off, too, if I had to A.) play in the rain and B.) smell all of those dirty hippies night in and night out.

Ekoostic Hookah is why people think jam bands are boring.

I've never wanted to punch band members like I do with Ekoostik Hookah. They suck so bad, it makes me want to deliver on right to the throat.
