i'm sure the kids will be ok. censorship is a joke. is the haunted jail cutting back on scare tactics based on kiddies this year?

I do agree that censorship is a joke but,the only thing I was asked was to keep it respectful. So, all of the bands playing will be asked not to be vulgar before they play. I want this to go so well that local original music is a part of this every year. I would never ask anyone to censor themselves artisticly. However show a little common sense and please don't get stupid. This event is going to bring huge promo opportunities. As we all know the main goal of most bands is to get the biggest following they can. On that note everyone who supports local original music is

My comment was directed at nobody in particular. I also am not a fan of censorship. However, most all age shows, the kids go to see the show, the parents generally don't. At this event, parents will be there, kids who are going for the haunted house and not just to see the show will be there.. with their parents. If the parents get offended, they will be the ones to pitch a fit to the promoter, the haunted jail, the newspaper, the city, and on an on. That could have serious consequences on future opportunities like this and that would be a shame. That's all I was trying to say.

Well, I'm glad there are concerned people, and it's totally true. If my band was at a bar................then that's a totally different story.........but when they are kids I try my best to keep myself censored. I do have a potty mouth when I get really out-of-control, but I know how to keep me from getting that way and still give a metal show. I can't wait until this Saturday.
