"Dream with a Window", a short film by Sean Townsend, will be opening at Cinema Center Tech (on campus at the intersection of Anthony and Washington in downtown Fort Wayne) on Friday, May 4th. There will be events for screenings on both Friday and Saturday: Friday night, the showing will be scored LIVE by Somnambulist Red (a five-piece, consisting of Jay Carroll, James Rude, John Cheesebrew, Dylan Grigar and Sean Townsend). No pre-recorded music/samples--everything live to enhance the viewing experience. Starts at 7 pm. Don't miss it!
Saturday night, the film will be shown in its regular format, followed by a live performance from Resonance Quartet--a deep, dark and meditative wave of sounds. Don't miss it, either.
>Note: The screening on Friday will be something of a historical experience. This will be the first live scoring of a local artist's work here in Ft. Wayne, IN. And, to add to it, the screenings and performances on Fri. & Sat. will be followed by "The Host"---the first Korean film to be shown in Ft. Wayne! At the very least, this will be a weekend of independent art/entertainment unique to Northeast Indiana. Hope to see you there.
