Back in action!

Wow, I'd love to check that out. I haven't been to an ARU show since -?96-97? I think... That would be a pretty healthy road trip though.

There are very few bands I'd travel to GA, SC or FL to see. There are none of those listed here.

But I'm sure it would be fun.

I would definitely do this, if I had the scratch. I don't, so I can't. This lineup is incredible, although I prefer the two ARU albums sans Col Bruce. He held them back musically a little bit IMO.

What the Colonel lacked musically, was made up for with spiritual and creative guidance.

My Father and I had dinner with Jimmy Herring once, post Hampton, and he said that the Col. had a spiritual philosophy centered around Major League Baseball. After many lengthy discussions, Jimmy was a convert. Now mind you, this was several years ago, but at the time Jimmy was pretty convinced that through baseball, one could find enlightenment.

Plus I hear Bruce gets great smoke.
