Botanical Conservatory is ‘Wired for Sound’ with Outdoor Concert Series
Trade in the smoky club scene for concerts al fresco. Blues, reggae, Celtic, zydeco and folk music will play from the Fort Wayne Metals – Wired for Sound stage at the Botanical Conservatory every Friday evening from July 21st through September 1st. Bring a lawn chair and join us for these upcoming concerts:
No Tools Loaned will take the stage on July 21st at 9:00pm. Come enjoy this Kentucky-based bluegrass band that combines classic standards and unique touches to make every song a true “NTL” original.
Paul Cebar and the Milwaukeeans will make you want to dance as they take the stage on July 28th. The band, which embraces Reggae and old-school soul, will transport you to a club in the French Quarter as they play what they dub “Afro-Caribbean inspired New Orleans funk.”
Doors open at 8:00pm with music starting at 9:00pm (to midnight). Admission is only $5 per person and children ages 12 and under are admitted free with a parent. Cover includes the concert and admission to the gardens. Mad Anthony Brewing Co. will have themed food and a cash bar available for an additional charge.
