My winter percussion students ended up getting me a nice umbrella tree bonsai. I haven't started shaping it yet, but it's holding up wonderfully (which is saying something, because I usually kill plants!). I'll post some pics once I start shaping it.

SCAM Alert...Northcrest area. These guys just came to my door asking to see my gas bill, saying that they supply the gas for NIPSCO. He wanted to know if we were a 'preferred customer' or something of the sort. They say they can lock you in at $1.14 per therm for 5 years. The current lock in price f...

Not a bad song but, geesh you gotta record with a click track especially with this kind of music. Another example of gtr players not listening to the drummer. (And the drummer always gets the bad rap!) Sorry, but I'd pretty much pin this one on the drummer too. All over the place time wise a...

So, Meg is not a great drummer. . . Jack White seems to be a very creative songwriter & musician, am I wrong? I don't think you're wrong at all. If it wasn't for Meg's complete lack of creativity and talent, I just might like them. I guess I'm just shallow, in that I can't allow myself to like them...

That doesn't mean they were great or that I'd want to listen to them. And I don't think seves comment had anything to do with whether or...

Holy crap people - sorry I asked! I had no idea proposing this would be such an issue. I don't think it was the proposition that was the deal, it was the way everyone took your request of a "professional for free". People on here take what they do very seriously, as you seem to, and they want to ge...

I was talking to a manager the other day that has been managing an establishment in Fort Wayne for several years. He said that it costs them around $4000 a year to pay off ASCAP and a few other licensing types companies. Specifically, he said ASCAP was about $1500 a year, which was around what the b...
