For the first 3 years I was in my band, we asked for gas money and nothing else. Now that we've gotten signed and are needing better equipment and what not, we usually ask for just a little bit more, to cover gas and also van repairs. But then again we're just kids doing what we love on the weekends...

regardless, a year or so ago i got nailed by something like this, except with amazon (which, believe it or not is a lot worse than having it happen on myspace). some guy in romania emptied out all my money at an atm at sears.
