I owe you a debt of gratitude Mike, for letting me know where Savannah was playing Saturday night, and for inviting me out. I also believe it was no coincidence that my band scheduled an unusual rehearsal time for late that afternoon, that was just five minutes away from your gig. God does indeed mo...

Thank-you for posting this Mike. The loss of Will has hit me very hard. He was truly one of the "good guys". I consider myself extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to be his bandmate, and friend. We played together in "Lowlife Socialites" for three years, and I have some great memories of...

I agree with Silencio. The Fender 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue is a great choice. For lower volume cleans, you can't beat the sweetness of 6V6 power tubes. However, if you need louder clean tones you should also consider a good used Fender 65 Super Reverb Reissue, or a 65 Twin Reverb Reissue. I've seen ...

When they first went up on the website, I was able to play them with no problem. I've tried to access them a few times recently with no success. They come up and say "ready" under the play button, but I can't make anything happen after that. Did something change recently in their implementation? FYI...

Kudos to bassjones and WBOB for posting the info from Newsweek International, and Whistleblower magazine. Both sources nail down what's really going on with regards to global warming. We need to be constantly questioning the agendas of all politicians, regardless of their party affiliation. There ar...

Any band that sounds like two chainsaws in a death battle.

Any band with cookie monster lead vocals.

Any band that refers to women as bitches and ho's.

Any band that solves musical math problems at the expense of soul and groove.

Re: good luck

Re: Something Different!

I’m a bass player who plays both the electric bass guitar and electric and acoustic upright basses. I’m looking to put together an interesting project that would cross several musical genres and combine elements of alt country, western swing, cowpunk, folk rock, and rockabilly into a blend of a...

I just can't get into cover bands...serious pipes & hot? Then they should DO their OWN thing. I hate it when looks AND talent are wasted on cover songs Many talented singers and musicians are not composers, nor do they have the desire to be one. For many, their gift is in the interpretation and per...
