Well, $300 for a cert is a lot cheaper than $900 for a class. IPFW offers class credit for A+, Network+ and other certs. I'd rather self study for some of these things than sit through a class. Besides that, there is just the personal desire to test myself. I have always enjoyed taking tests and see...

Well, I don't have a confirmed list of people. If you're doing this, please PM me. We're meeting at the Northcrest Pizza Hut. Wear your Khaki's and Blue Polos! Unless we have at least 10 people, I'm afraid this won't really be any fun. Anyone's thoughts? Who all is going to be there for sure?

Most of the sites that I have read suggest that you get the A+ first, then get the Network+ and consider the Linux+ as all are valuable in the IT field.

I didn't dig into the code, but I'm viewing on 1024x768. Somewhere in there, I think you have to have something setting the width to be so huge, or you just made a gigantic image.

Still, though, it looks really good.

CompTIA A+ Certification Study-Buddy or Study Group

Hey, I'm once again (for like the eighth time) diving into my study for attaining my A+ certification. I'm looking for a once or twice a week study-buddy or organizing a study group to run through the objectives. I am figuring a three month commitment to this. I have the latest Michael Meyers All-In...

I checked it in IE7 and FF3beta. The design looks good. The images are catchy, the colors and theme is right on based on what I've heard of your music. The layout is hurting, though. Your left margin is like 400 pixels. The main content didn't even start until near the halfway mark on my screen. Thi...

Dr Pepper Puts Axl on the Spot!

http://music.unrealitytv.co.uk/dr-pepper-calls-axl-roses-bluff/ Tired of a world in which Americans idolise wannabe singers and musicals about high schoolers pass as rock ‘n roll music, Dr Pepper is encouraging (ok, begging) Axl Rose to finally release his 17-years-in-the-making belabored masterpi...

Well, perhaps the subject is a bit misleading. I'm not looking for production grade recording. I want to have a situation where I plug my guitar into my Line 6 POD-XT Live, then plug that into something else and it records on my computer. I'd also like to be able to lay down rough vocal tracks. The ...

Okay, we promoted those shows, but few people showed up. I think our largest crowd was maybe 30 or 40 people. The last two shows, I couldn't even be there because I had to work. Thankfully, there were awesome staffers to pick up the slack.

garr and i spent some time tossing flyers into whatzups for SCMF a looooong time ago. And flyer bombing the hell out of the venue. . .I remember those. You made those kick ass giant posters which we put on the front door. Those were some awesome days. We promoted the hell out of those shows, but no...

If WhatzUp offered advertising in the same price range as $20 for a stack of a thousand flyers, then maybe bands would do that instead. However, I have not seen a 4.25 by 5.5 ad anywhere close to that price for 1 run. Bands are poor. They have to use creative guerrilla tactics to get the juice out t...

Okay, just put your flyers in between the issues, not inside them.
