So how were the crowds last week-end?

I know The Gin Mill seemed to have a great turnout considering my lame ass band was there on Sat....I stopped by Checkerz Friday, and it was deadish. Dupont Bar and grill is still smoking, but 1/2 the band did not show Friday. Place was packed with smokers.

don't let the pretty boy image sway you. Mayer is a killer guitarist, and especially with the Jordan/Palladino rhythm section will put on a killer live show. You are wasting your breath on this board. I hated the guy with a passion until the TRY disc. Love or Hate him, thats a good CD. Most "cool" ...

Depending on the size amp you can play reasonably.... Marshall JCM800 and a clean boost for solos. 2x12 or 4x12 colsed cab. Or, say an 18/20 Marshall (or Marshall clone). Turned up this will rock old school all day. Like the other poster said...You are looking at overdrive more than say distortion. ...
