Mr. Summers, you rally should request that the overnight weekend person at 33 be given a job evaluation or something. For some reason, probably due to this guy/gal's ineptitude, anything post 11 p.m. on Saturdays for the past month and a half has been garbled or bungled in some fashion and people are taking notice and it makes them look real bad/lazy/unprofessional.

I bet Ollie's gonna chastize me for this, but whatever.

It's probably NOT a person....it's someone that forgot to load up the automation right.

Hell, I've seen 33 drop the ball on the Tonight Show and SNL....what makes you think that FWReader's show would get any better treatment...or that NOT showing it and screwing up (for the third time in what, four weeks?) meant that it was a slam toward that stepchild, Hip-Hop...or whatever you kids call that music nowadays?

No offense meant, Mike, but the point is valid. If the show gets rerun, or preempted too often, NO one will seek it out.

Ollie, if I'm wrong, please illuminate....but isn't 33 basically run by remote control from Butler Road?

I hazard to guess that its a traffic problem. ..ultimately someone is not doing there job. Its a domino effect.

The Account exec. who handled the account doesnt tell traffic what show to air.

Traffic plugs in whatever is available or leaves the old show episode number and its never updated.

Master Control plays what is on the log, come heck or high water.

This log info is translated to TV Guide and it plugs into the systems that carry info for TiVo and Comcast.

I have yet to have this show recorded on my TiVo because there is no info available.

They have waaay to much going on at the station for this to be a priority.

Unless you make it one.

Call 'em and b*tch, especially if you have money involved.

I talked to Sean last night, and, the sad thing is, it apparently wasn't anything even as remotely complicated as anything previously suggested.
The genius at the station played our show instead because (as he apparently put it to Sean) the Sub-Surface show was on the wrong kind of tape, and wouldn't work in their unit.
(I think this is accurate...I had been drinking, after all)

The two shows were on IDENTICAL tapes.

As I have often said, the only prejudice we have in my family is against stupid people...and apparently for good reason.

You are getting screwed here, especially if you are paying for this.

You should totally ax "Night Shaft" and broadcast this in its place. More people would definitively watch this.

Unlikely Alibi will air on December 2/3, then Sub-Surface on December 9/10.

Yes, I wanted Sub-Surface to air when they were supposed to air. I know they were counting on a "media blitz" for the album release and party, etc. And I wanted to accomodate them, but it didn't work out.

Am I angry? Yes. Am I disappointed? Yes. Do I feel like we're getting jerked around? Yesâ€¦

My apologies and and slack-jawed excuses ("uhh, I don't know what happenedâ€¦") on these boards may sound a little milquetoast to you, but that's because all my swearing is over with by the time I get here.

Also, in case you think we haven't heard your advice and complaints and suggestionsâ€¦ well, we have. Not to be overly dramatic, but that's all I'll say right now.

But I'm getting tired of hearing my own excuses, too, so I'll just get back to work.

Ummm....just to clarify, I wasn't super pissed about the Sub-Surface show not airing in particular, I just wondered when it actually would air so I could be sure to catch it.

Plus, it sucks when it appears like a local show is getting d*cked around.

P.S. I watched LLC on Nite Shift over the weekend. Nice shirt, Brenn
