My Palace burger last Friday was ordered medium well. Came medium well on one half...and medium rare on the other. Half of my burger was the tasty morsel I've come to expect...the other half was an inedible ball of dead cattle flesh.

Talk about a mixed review, huh?

BTW....the tiny fly in my dining partner's white russian didn't help matters either. Nor did the waitresses inablility to comprehend what had happened...or to immediately replace the tainted drink with another.

On second thought....not so mixed. I liked the Palace better when Bill had it. This last visit was more like revisiting your first home....no matter how wonderful it was in your memory, it always ends up looking smaller, faded and less inviting. Sorry, Palace.

I have mixed reviews also.

Loved it when it was the old Bills.

recently for a lunch, it seemed most of the
food was undercooked.
service = so so.

another time for time for dinner, food again
seemed slightly undercooked (potatos, veges
and supposedly steak cooked well)
service however, was impeccable.

In July of 1981 I had stale popcorn at the Palace Theatre in Hicksville Ohio. I washed it down with 3.2 beer and a healthy dose of Roadmaster.

in 1978, so did I, scept I skipped the popcorn
to make more room for that wonderful 3.2 brew.

So, when did the ownership change? I had the spinach dip & it was damn good.
