Sour Girl is exactly the song I was thinking of when claiming that his sober period was awful. Sorry, just not my cup 'o tea. And the video where he danced with the Teletubbie? What was that?

Was that the day they dumped their poop off a bridge onto some tourists? Environmentalists indeed!

No, but that's hilarious.

It's actually the day they released 'Everyday'.
Perhaps the poop dumping was metaphorical regarding their feelings about the wretchedness that was 'Everyday'...

My guess is that their "I care about the planet" stance was really just to win over the remaining hippie, tree hugging, idealist crowd. And when I say hippie, I'm refering to birkenstock wearing college frat boy types, not actual deadheads.

Come on, they are noncaring rock stars who WROTE THE SONG "EVERYDAY" ALL BY THEMSELVES knowing full well what a piece of (ahem) crap it was and well. . .

THEY DUMPED THEIR POOP ON SOME TOURISTS!!!

hahaha... Well, you know me well enough to know I'm no big fan of birkenstock wearing frat boys - although I do like the pre-Everyday DMB catalog quite well. That album was total pooh though. Even they thought so.
