So, Logic it is.

I decided to go with Logic Express. It allows me to get my feet wet in Logic and then upgrade to Pro (Studio) at no penalty down the road. All I will have to pay is the difference in price between the two. Pretty cool. Downloaded the drivers for the 828 and got it all up and running this weekend. I've still only got the stock 1G of RAM and I'm just using the internal hard drive for now, so who knows how many tracks I'll end up being able to get, but it's a good way to get things going. As soon as I'm comfortable I'll be producing/engineering the White Hot Noise EP and from there who knows...
