Perhaps you could post a soundclip?
You mean that's important??? From what I've read, they're supposed to be pretty nice. Not ES335 nice, but better than most of the Asia-Pacific import guitars - which are much improved now anyway.

That's a beautiful guitar.
I boought one of the China/ Pacific knockoff mandolins (Old Hickory) and it looks, sounds, and plays WAYYYY better than the two twice-as-expensive Epiphone f-style mandos I've picked up and attempted to play lately.

Adam, you realize of course its not your *real* guitar until it gets its first nick or ding.
Then the honeymoon is over and then you can be comfortable enough to play the crap out of it.

I can relate to this statement, even though the most expensive guitar I own was 400 bucks, including the case.

That guitar is WAY too beautiful to play. The body has so much gloss, it looks like furniture. If I owned a guitar like this, I would put it on a stand and put in my living room with a little red velvet rope around it.

I always babied my $2000 G&L L2500 Custom - until it fell and got a big old boo boo. Now I just make sure it's always set up well and has good strings. I don't worry about it too much anymore. Still breaks my heart to see the battle scar though.
