That Bourgeois Tagg song is great. I remember hearing it on the radio a few years ago and going home and tracking it down and learning it. : /
But I've always been too ashamed to actually PLAY it, in front of, you know, PEOPLE.

Ok. I will win this right now.

I can't help it. I was born this way.

Why the f*ck are you embarassed about that? Thats the best album of 2004, hands down. I believe it even won a Grammy for spoken word album. Don't be ashamed.

^that album gets the platinum rim job trophy for grandest tongue in cheek acheivement of '04. I know Jenn loves it, but Ben Folds' participation doesn't outweigh my feelings that Shatner is a hack who has been living off a nation's love of schmaltz for way too way.

Play it.

It's interesting how different it comes across when played by a chick, and how much better it seems when you don't watch the video.

Because when I play this, 95% of the general public is like "who the frak is this?", and when I tell them, they back away slowly.

Honestly coming from a straight guy a few of my artists/genre I like to wake up and relax to while getting ready could be considered embarassing...

Anything Classical
Bucket Head (the colma cd)
Tori Amos
Morphine
Bjork
Fiona Apple

So there ya have it.

The Crash Test Dummies.

The album, "God Shuffled His Feet" is surprisingly intellectual in an offbeat, tongue in cheek kind of way.

and they're still going at it
