The point is, its not working...
Honestly, unless he is working on feeding in off-site reviews in order to start threads for discussions, I don't see how an approval process for reviews is going to be better than just having anyone post a movie and write something about it.
Those that want to elaborate will, the rest will either give a "I liked it" or "I didn't like it" one-liner... and then we are back to where we started.

Whether or not it works wasn't the issue I was addressing, though. I mean, I see it as a valid complaint, but I was addressing the issue that the new posts were not being adequately added.
I have my stance on these tributary forms, but I'll not state it here.
We're working on a solution.

I am finding that I do not have the time to cruise this forum like I had hoped. If I open it for public posting can you guys just post a thread for a movie. No general topics like " favorite horror movies" just "Movie Title"
I have another plan for this thread in the future but I would need you all to follow that rule and I have nop issue opening the forum up.

I understand why you responded the way you did (as admins, you don't want to undermine one another), but I think the valid complaint is in fact, more important. Let's just say you address the issue and Al or whoever, starts posting the movies in a more timely manner...we are still left with the same issue of people not wanting it, and just being able to post a movie whenever and discuss it.
I'm not saying The Dude or I speak for the "masses", but until you get a bunch of supporters, why micromanage movie reviews...or any reviews, for that matter?

We're obviously cool with it if you open it up to everyone.
However, I can't speak for everyone...I personally will only post movie titles to be reviewed but you know there will be people who won't follow the guidelines.

Sorry Al...we must have been posting at the same time...yeah, what you said was cool...only movie titles get posted. I'll follow that...
Hell, if I wouldn't plan to abuse the power, I'd even moderate for the review forum and delete everything that wasn't a movie title...ruling like an iron fist:)
