Until three months ago, I believed the Firefly carried the best cup of coffee in town. That was before I discovered the Dragon's Keep. They carry over 20 different blends and roasts and can almost always find something that will suit your tastes. The staff always seems really knowledgable - the owners seem to always be working, and they're passionate about their coffee.

The Keep's other drinks are similarly spectacular. I'm not sure what kind of chai they serve, but it's quickly become one of my favorites (only Aspen's is better). They also serve the most delicious drink I've ever had - That One Thing. Yes, that's its name. It's got vanilla, green tea chai, and some other stuff (I can't recall all of it). This thing wakes me up at work on many a morning. Also, any place that serves a Green Tea Chai scores high marks in my book, I'm tired of going to Starbucks for it.

I originally asked for The Keep to be added on here so I could review their Open Mic Night. Unfortunately this was the last week of Tuesday Open Mic at The Dragon's Keep. The guy running things got a new job and will be working 60-70 hours a week, which kinda limits his random Tuesday jam time. This is a shame because the place had a really comfortable atmosphere and made for a great, laid back place to play. They're still doing shows, and hopefully when I've got the time, I'll post a review of The Keep as a venue.
