BW&W has a special place in my mind because it was one of the first wing places in town, and one of the first places with curly fries. Remember? it used to be called Buffalo Wings & Curls. I went there when I was dating my wife, and have gone back for many birthdays, or times when I just needed my wing fix.

Their wings are excellent. I like the Garlic Hot.

If I ever stray from getting wings there, the ribs are some of the tenderest I have ever had. If you can't decide, there is a wings/ribs combo plate.

My wife likes the various sandwiches as well.

Yes from working at the Coldwater Road store, the Garlic Hot is always what I snacked on.

The food there is great but I've backed off lately...If you go for lunch and it takes 25 to 30 minutes to get your food,(even when they are not busy) does'nt leave much time to eat and get back to work. Speed up the lunch time service and I'll come back.

Too much vinegar in the "hot" sauce for the wings but they're decent. And I don't think the wings can even be compared to some of the other establishments such as Peanuts, the Gin Mill, The Bar.

The prices are a bit steep, too. I remember ordering a buffalo chicken sandwich there and when they brought it to the table, I thought it was some sort of a joke. It looked like something that would be served in a high school cafeteria and it tasted about the same. That was the last time I went and probably the last time I'll go.

As for ribs...I don't order ribs when I'm out. I'm a snob like that.

...But still better than that nasty chain wings place opening up all over town...

You're right though, can't touch Peanuts.

believe it or not Applebee's has great wings...not any variety but they are huge and boy are they good. Other than that...you guys need to travel up to Kendallville to the Crazy Horse and get their hot wings. They have sweet taste at first but they get hotter and hotter as you eat them. I don't know about ribs, I don't like barbecue!!

Yeah, I've had Applebee's wings, and they are really good as well.

WHAT!?!?!? Are you a communist, boy? How do you expect me to trust your wing recommendations when you confess to not liking barbecue?

I will eat spicy barbecue ribs but I won't pay alot of money in a restuarant for something I don't really care for. I'd rather have a steak to tell you the truth...rare to medium rare with a BIG A$$ BEER!! (frosted glass of course)
