The petition thing was already done long before the smoking ban went into effect.

No one on the council, but Didier, cared...

Agreed.

Their business plan should not have hinged on smoking, or not.

This coming from a smoker.

frankly, I'm tired of businesses using the smoking ban as an excuse for A. going out of business and B. (especially B.) paying musicians on average 50% of what we were making two years ago. I call bullsh*t! And I am 100% opposed to this stupid legislation, but for other reasons.

I was there a couple of times before and after the smoking ban. It was completely empty both times. I visited on a Friday and a Saturday night. Nobody. The smoking ban caused them to go out of business my ass.

I went there once and it was dead, and it was a Saturday. It was just a crummy bar, the night we were there the service was awful, the beer was old, the drinks were made horribly. My friend got a long island that tasted awful so she stopped drinking it, after about an hour of it sitting on our table it began to seperate and has some sorta sh*t floating in it, I had never seen that before.
