Hobby Band Seeks Lead Vocalist

Post by PGlowacki »

We are a non-working cover band looking for a lead singer. We currently have our lead guitar player also handling the lead vocals. We would like to find someone to take over the lead vocals on the large majority of the set list.

We have a firm commitment to play a private party in July. We are working through a set list of about 25 songs, all covers. We do some Beatles, Stones, Petty, Pink Floyd plus others from the late 50's through the 80's.

We are all late 30's/40-something guys with full time jobs. We do this for fun and not for profit. We have a practice space and a small PA system. If you have your own PA system (>300 Watts), that is definitely a bonus. We are a band in the true sense. Everyone is equal and there are no egos that interfere with having fun playing the music.

If you can sing and are looking for a fairly low stress place to front a band, email me.
