It works !!!!

Post by ihitwithstix »

I met that sexy mofo Stober on here. You should see him with his shirt off.
I have had the pleasure of meeting and playing with Garr due to this site.I have met the beautiful Jen. Yes, I was a Crash -N- Twang customer. I have also had the opportunity to play with Taylor. Taylor is a teenage musician on this site. I am a 39 year old married father of 3. I have played everything from pop to rock and from jazz to metal with people I have met on this site. Keep up the good work FWM !!!!
Thank You for a job well done.

I don't know if you meant to say lead guitard but I had a good chuckle out of that! Well done!
that was intentional. It's kind of a bassist thing. On talkbass.com it's either guitard or g&*$*%^ (have to cover profanity :))

Ive met and played with lots o people on this site.
I've played with ihitwithstix, millhouse, garr, shaggydoo, and many many more, the current band I play drums with I found on this site. If you are having trouble finding musicians here, you are limiting your options too much. If you limit yourself to an age group, genre, and such you are limiting your own musical expression and experience.

i believe that it does. I found my previous band on this site (C90), as well as a guitarist for the band i'm now (Generator), and i don't play metal, -core, or any other odd stuff. I am also in the process of finding a guitarist and drummer for said band i'm in now, so yes i believe this site works.

kid site????

I agree with most everyone's comments here. there is some diverse players on here, but i also agree that there is more metal and/or punk players posting a larger percent of the time. i have found by talking to most of the "older" musicians around that they do not think too highly of the site and rarely visit it, if at all. I personally am not a big computer fan and still think that going out to the various venues and shaking hands with introductions face to face is still the best network. you get to see, hear and learn what you might be getting before you waste time and energy setting up jams only to be disappointed in the end. although i must admit that the core players of my new band came from here and i couln't be happier that it happened. as with anything these days being in the right place, at the right time, with the right stuff will pay dividends. as for the site i will only say keep on keepin on. the same for you bigmick good things come to those who wait and believe! from a 35yr verteran player......
