Vocalist looking to start new band or join NON METAL BAND

i am a singer/songwriter looking to start a band or join a band that is not into the whole heavy metal thing.
i have had years of experience in both live and studio situations.
i have sang for several "metal" bands around fort wayne but i am looking to do something else, not related to the metal scene.
i play some guitar and write some. i have some songs written and am really looking to find some guys/girls to help round out the writing end of things.
i have too many influences to list, as i love all music.
of late i have been listening to Butch Walker, Jeffrey Gaines, D.J. Ashba, Toby Jepson, Rich Ward, BFS, Mitch Allan......just to name a few.
