Yes indeed folks.........the TBJ is just around the corner! I can feel it in the air. I just hope we have enough room to squeeze all the fellow jammers in!

What in the world is this Turkey Bird Jam? Well years ago it was the "Day after Thanksgiving" party. All my brothers jam - so it just grew from there.

The Friday after Turkey Day (the date this year is November 24) you are all invited to share in a musical free-for-all.

Bring your whole band. Blow us away.

Show up with just your axe. Or use our beat-up Kramer. If you need anything nicer than that you better bring it.

Plug into any of the amps not being used at the time. Marshall, Fender, Randall.........Or bring your Marshall Stack.

House drum set provided.

Been working on what you believe is the HOTTEST lick known (or not known) to mankind? Lay it on us. We'll fill in the groove.

Make some new friends.

Find the bass player you and your drummer have been looking for since high school.

Whatever your style - bring it. Blues. Rock. Metal. Funk. Electronica. Acoustic. You name it - we'll dig it.

You are whole-heartedly invited to show up and enjoy nothing but the very best jam session of the year.

Rules: Sorry kids, no underage drinking. No needles, spoons, straws, crack pipes allowed. This means no "hard" drugs. I don't need to call the cops or an ambulance or your wife or mom when you collapse on the floor..........Enjoy as many cold ones as you can but please don't act like a drunken fool. We may all just pitch in on a keg....who knows.

This is out in the country. Yes - you can crank it up. Yes we have all the equipment needed to put some sound in the air.

Just show up.

Between Kendallville and Avilla. A mile or so away from Noble Hawk Golf Course.

Sundown. Usually folks start to trickle in around 5 or so.

This is a great time! I'll pm directions to you. (I'm a bit nervous about posting the exact location here.........call me paranoid...........)

A few guys have PMd wondering when/where this is. It is the day AFTER Thanksgiving which is Friday, the 24th of November.

I am sending the exact location to anyone interested. Sorry - but my paranoia requires me to be a little more discreet with the exact location of my jam room. You never know with the internet...............so just PM me!

So far my guess is we'll have at least 35 or 40 jammers so SPREAD THE WORD!

I hope ALL your brothers are there this time, and we NEED to record it!

Wow! This is starting to look like a big jam! Everyone who has PMd for directions - just call my cell if you (you shouldn't) get lost. 260-349-2723.

When you park - do NOT park in the front yard. There should be plenty of space to park on the right side of the drive. Just be careful if it's been raining or wet outside.

I was out there a few days ago and something wasn't quite right with the bass rig. I hope it was just the cable I was using. Stopped into Music Star for some heavy duty instrument cables and got one #ell of a deal. So I'll be checking it out tonight. Will report on any further technical issues with it.
