Hell No!

Why the Bears lost....

#1. Abandoned the Run
#2. Deep passes on a very rainy night.
#3. Too many 3 'n outs.

What I liked....

DEVIN HESTER!

Oh well...next season is close enough....

Why they lost? Because they got schooled...

And I did call a 31-17 score, but I don't know if I posted it on here. I have been stuck on that score for 2 weeks...

I even got Kayla trained to say it on command...heh.

I hardly call a 12-point win "schooled".

Bears offense lost this game. Seriously...14-6 lead, Bears offense with the ball. All they had to do was get the occasional first down. Even when Indy had the lead at 16-14, all the Bears had to do was run the damn ball with Jones and Peterson.

The second they lost Benson, they threw the gameplan out. You can tell by the playcalling.

Playcalling? Well whatever coach called plays like 'Drop the snap' TWICE...and the ever so famous 'Air the ball out to a defender' play...I sugest they 'let them go'...

#1. Abandoned the Run forced to abandon, Colts D rose to the occasion
#2. Deep passes on a very rainy night. due to above
#3. Too many 3 'n outs. due to above also.

Although Manning got MVP, this was total team effort.
The Colts defense surprised the Bears offense.
The Hester thing was solved quickly,... just squib it away
and once again, let the defense do their thing.

It was funny after the game to hear and announcer say (roughly) 'The colts wouldn't kick it to Hester because they had more fear of him running it back than Grossman's ability to go anywhere with it from the 40 yard line.'

OUCH...

I'm thoroughly convinced that if the Colts & Bears played 10 times, the Colts would beat them all 10 times. Regardless of what the score was, it was evident at the half that we had the JV versus the Varsity in this matchup (i.e. the Bears defense couldn't stop the Colt's offense & the Bears offense........well....). Bears fans will whine & b*tch about how their team didn't play very well; but they should be relieved that the Colts really didn't play their style of football either & were still able to dominate the Bears at the line of scrimmage. Thank God it rained or it would have been even more embarrassing for the Bear's fans.

Ummm...Mike....I think the Pitchers and Catchers have reported...that means that you are in violation of the site T.O.S. by posting in a football thread during baseball season...we are going to have to ban you now...;) j/k.

I am right there with you...I think the Bears just didn't know what to do with themseleves once the Colts got into the groove...Does anyone know if they will meet in the regular season next year or ever?? I know that NFL scheduleing is wacky at times...I would LOVE to see it though...

almost always there's a superbowl rematch the next year whether it be in preseason or regular season--it'll happen.
