New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison will be suspended by the NFL for four games because he admitted to federal investigators that he obtained Human Growth Hormone, sources have told ESPN.

...in an attempt to recover from career threatening injuries. The times he took them match up to his most severe injuries and the recovery periods.

Key word = banned.

Yup, and I bet he's not the only one. I bet most of the guys in the NFL who use banned substances use them to speed or even enable recovery from an injury. It's a brutal game. That said, shouldn't have used them, should have been suspended, although I'm somewhat surprised he admitted to it when there is no test for it. That's almost admirable.

He didn't just come out and admit it. He was being questioned by the Feds . In other words, the heat was on and he pulled a Giambi.

And I agree...I'm sure there are dozens of players using HGH. I wouldn't be surprised if they outnumbered those who don't, actually.

The really bad thing about all this...the worst thing of it all...

He's a forking New England Patriot. He should be locked up for that alone. :lol:
