I was never a Cubs fan, but as a kid I'd always watch Ryne Sandberg. He always played 100%, and just seemed to have fun playing the game. I wish we'd see more players like him. Here's hoping he gets a managerial job in the bigs someday (with the White Sox - I'd hate to root for anybody else).

That is very cool. I know that for the longest time he wasn't really associated with MLB. I think he wanted to spend time with his family. It makes happy to know that someday I might be able to see him back in the majors.

I'm not saying he should take over the reins tomorrow, I love Ozzie. But I think we all know that the Ozzie experience will only last a few more years. He talked about retiring after we won the series, and now he's just saying stuff to try and tick off the Chicago media. I can't see him lasting past 2010. No matter how much I'd like it. When he leaves - then we bring in Ryno.

Ozzie Guillen is the best thing to ever happen to the Southsiders. If they're smart, they'll do everything possible to keep him there and keep him happy.

Wrong. Kenny Williams is the best thing to ever happen to the Southsiders. Ozzie's only in the top 3 or 4.

Maybe I'll take that back:

WTF? Hopefully, he's got some other trick up his sleeve. I thought he could do better than a couple of under-performing, yet highly touted, pitching prospects for Garcia. What about the OF and bullpen, KW?
